i miss sunday mornings

Three things that got me reminiscing about Sundays. I'm not working at Levi's today. I've been eating the portuguese sausage that my mom brought from home. And I was looking at the Sunday paper advertisements. Even though I'm not working at Levi's today, I'm still working at the library today. I'm there right now but it's so chill that it feels like I'm not working so it's like I have a day off I guess. Anyways, I just really miss the Sunday morning routines of my youth. Waking up early to go to 8:30 mass (when I used to go to church at least). Then coming home and making a huge breakfast; 6-8 eggs scrambled, almost all of a portuguese sausage, 3 cups of rice, and pog and orange juice. I miss pog soo much. And then after breakfast I would go through all the ads and read the comics. I think looking at the ads evolved from looking at the Toys R Us and KB Toys ads from when I was even youthfuller because I have no idea why I would feel the need to look at Office Depot or Wal Mart ads. It's not like I would look through the Circuit City one and be like, "Woah that's a deal!" because I had nothing to base what was and wasn't a deal. I remember my round of comics that I would read too. Of course I wouldn't read all of them. Family Circus, Doonesbury, Classic Peanuts, Hagar the Horrible, etc etc. I don't remember ever laughing out loud at any of the comics. If anything it got a smirk out of me. At least I hope so because if I had no reaction to the comics then reading them would be as pointless as looking at the ads. I'm so dumb. A typical Sunday morning routine would end when my dad would take the paper into the bathroom and take is routine two hour long Sunday morning shit. Which is when I don't remember what I'd do.
