Check Up

I think it's about midway through my last summer ever and I'm pretty chill right now. I'm not as emo as I was a couple of posts ago. I think because I've been hanging out at the Dank Tank more often. The Dank Tank is where Simone, Lara, Cathleen, and now Katelyn live. Past residents include Teresa and Audrey. All friends of mine. Work is not so bad too. It just sucks that I now have to try and sneak onto the bus as the coming of July meant the expiration of my June pass. $2?!??! Everyday. I've mastered hamburger helper and pastroni. I've just realized that the $2 that I spend on the bus is enough to buy 2 boxes of sale pastroni! How are you supposed to live in this city?! But whatever, it's still cool. I chopped my finger while chopping onions for my omelette. It bled a lot. Everytime I thought it was done, it'd start gushing out. And throughout the day at work, whenever I would explain this to whoever asked me about my bandaid, somebody who was close enough to hear would start, "eww eww please stop, that's just gross." Or something like that. It was always a girl. I don't know why but I get so surprised when people think that things that I think are fine are gross. Like cuts and blood. But more humorously farts and poop. How is somethign so essential to life, not embraced and praised?! But whatevers, not everyone thinks the same. I leave next week Wednesday. I'll be in Hawaii for a couple of days, then off to Japan. Not excited yet, but I will be the night before as always. Still gots stuff to do before I leave SF. If I wasn't so busy cooking delicious teriyaki chicken and 12, this house would have been thoroughly explored.
