I hate school

I'm in the computer labs using two computers. One to transfer pics and the other to do important stuff like this. It's 9:30 right now. I assume that when I get out of here there will be no more buses for me to catch home because it will be too late. And I'm listening to Phoenix song 1901, remixed by The Garage Band Teenagers. It's not that good but whatevers.

This is my second time blogging about my weekend and I think it's a ritual that I will try to keep up. The weekend is really the only time that I take pictures and, like on the computer screen to my left, it's fun to look at the pictures and remember how fun it was because I know that tomorrow and for a couple days after my urge to stab myself in the heart while jumping off of the Golden Gate Bridge will be at its greatest.

Thursday
My weekend began at 4:30 on Thursday, right after Japanese tutoring. I skipped work so that I could go on a Religion and Globalization class field trip to the Asian Arts Museum, where we were going to use our knowledge on Buddhism to fill out a 2 page worksheet. The main exhibit was Bhutan but it all looked the same to me. I like old things but it's so much more fun when you can actually touch old things. Like in the library, sometimes when I'm working I'll find some journal from 1889 or something and sit down and read some of it. Just to imagine how many other people have done the same to it in it's lifetime. I guess it was cool though.

A couple of my classmates, Gretchen, Lyn and Bharat decided to go to the movies after. We all sit in the back and, seriously, combined know more than the entire class put together. We were starving though so we ate some Mexican food at Chevy's. I ate there once before and I don't know why I kidded myself into eating there again but it will never happen again. It's soooo bad. To the objection of Gretchen, we ended up watching I Love You Man. I have never felt more awkward for a movie character before. So it was really funny. There's the funniest barf scene ever in it. Go watch it. I also hope to watch Up sometime in the near future in case you were wondering.
Friday
I forget. No pictures to remind me.

Saturday
I had to go on anther field trip, this time for California Ecology. It was at the Museum of the Most Boring Ass 7th Grade Dioramas Ever Made of California in Oakland. What sucked the most was that I had to wake up at fricking 9 in da morn. Luckily, my kind friend Emily, gave me, Kevin and Gretchen a ride there. I guess it was kind of good in the end though because me and Kevin got to eat the this place that we never get to eat at because it's the kind of place that closes when college kids usually wake up. The place is called Eats and it's a block away from my house but I rarely get to eat there since it closes at 3:30. It was probably the bestest breakfast that I have had so far in 2009. I got the breakfast sandwich with ham and homefries. I like how homefries just means cut potatoes. Oh and I also got sourdough french toast. Combined the bill was less that $20 and I did not get hungry until way later on in the night. So, to my knowledge, best place to eat not pizza and not asian food that is close to where I live on California and Third is Eats on Second and Clement.

Later on the day after playing some music, my super hot friend, Hank, informed me that there was the Street Fighter IV national tournament sponsored by Game Stop going on at Fort Mason in the Marina. From the initial 100,000 people who entered regional tournaments from all over the states, there were about 12 people competing. It was nucking futs man. This kid, Justin Wong ended up winning, where he'll now go on the represent American in at the World Tournament. The amount of ass that he pwned was so grand, it was obvious from the beginning that he was going to take it. I don't usually play fighting games besides Super Smash Brothers but I got super into it and got super into the mob mentality; "Wooooo-ing" and "Oooohhh-ing" along with everyone else and not knowing why. They were giving out free energy drinks (no duh right) and I ended up drinking 3 of them. BIG MISTAKE. I was really tired because of the field trip in the morning and went to bed at 1:30am. I did not fall asleep until 4am. I drank them at around 10. What was the most weird was that 1:30 to 4 felt like 30 minutes at most. I stayed in my bed the whole time. My mind was going a million miles an hour and I actually contemplated getting out of bed and doing homework to calm myself down.

Sunday
I started today with only about 5 hours of sleep. What the hell?! It's the weekend, it should be double. I couldn't just wake up at any time that I wanted to because I had to start filming for my movie that I'm doing in Japanese with my group. We all have conflicting schedules so early Sunday morning was the best that we could come up with. Anyways, we started filming at 9 and didn't get done till 1. Memorizing the lines is what took that longest. Ok so yeah, we finished filming for the day and I went to Haight to get lunch with Kevin and Hank. The three of us formed Red Moon Signals and we played music when we got back. Because I have to do a movie for Japanese, I'm renting a video camera from school. Of course I'm going to use it for other things besides the movie so I decide to record us playing. I did the same the day before. So before I did any filming for my movie today, I did some stuff of us playing on Saturday. No biggie right? Hell naw. I wanted to show Kevin and Hank the stuff that I recored to us from the day before so I rewound the tape. I then proceeded to film more of us playing; with out fast forwarding to after all the shit that I had filmed for my movie. I don't know if I'm explaining this well enough but I fucking recored us playing over the shit for my movie for Japanese. Luckily, it wasn't all of it but still. I guesstimated that, including memorizing lines and outtakes, I lost about 2 hours worths work of film. At least it's kind of funny right? hahaha. . .

Sigh.

So here I am now and it's 5 after 11. That was my weekend.
