Today is the 26th. And I'm at the airport. My flight leaves on the 27th. The whole time yesterday, I thought that it was the 26th. So the whole time yesterday, I thought that it was my last day. But in reality it was my second to the last day. So thinking that it was my last day, I came to the airport at like 11 at night to sleep. My flight was supposed to be the at the next morning at 9 and I would have had to wake up super early to take the trains to get here in time so I decided to just sleep over. But apparently the Narita Airport closes at 11. And people like me who decide that they want to sleep in the airport are corralled and confined to this small area while security gurads LITERALLY stand right in front of the invisible electric fence and watch you for the whole night up till 6 am when the airport opens. So that was pretty nuts. But I woke up and went to the check in desk to get my ticket and the lady told me that according to my itinerary, which I had in my pocket and failed to match the dates up, my flight leaves tomorrow.
So now, I plan to take the train to Shinagawa and put my shit in a locker. Then visit Sophia University and go to an onsen. But I kind of don't have any money. Mainly due to the fact that since I took such a late train to get to the airport, I had to take a taxi some of the way from the last stop to the actual airport. Ya. Please don't rub it in.
